The region's design week fills d3 from November 3 to 8, 2026: installations in the district's open spaces, talks, and the Abwab commissions, this year under the title In Other Words.
Downtown Design, November 4–8
The trade fair at its centre runs November 4 to 8, with over 300 brands in its most recent edition. The 2026 programme names Tristan Auer as keynote speaker at The Forum, a UAE Designer Exhibition of 30 UAE-based creatives, 18 companies presented by the Italian Trade Agency, Buccellati's Aquae Mirabiles with Luke Edward Hall, and a main lounge by Yinka Ilori for Veuve Clicquot.
Tickets
The Design Week's outdoor programme at d3 is open to the public; Downtown Design sells its own tickets online, with trade and general days — the fair's site has the prices.
Downtown Design is where the interiors market for the Gulf's new towers is actually transacted — the brands on the floor are the ones specified into the residential launches of the following two years. For a buyer, the fair is a preview of what 'fully fitted' will mean in a 2028 handover; for a designer, it is the week the UAE's clients are all in one district.
