Al Seef's heritage waterfront on the creek is lit for one evening. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 18:00 to 23:00, the Noor Festival of Lights brings a Diwali procession, live music and dance along the souk's lanes and the water's edge.

Practical

Entry is free. Al Seef sits between Al Fahidi and the Dubai Creek abras; the nearest metro is Al Fahidi on the Green Line, ten minutes' walk. The souk's restaurants stay open, and the abra crossing to Deira is the cheapest view of the lights.

Diwali in Dubai is a public-realm event rather than a private one, and Al Seef is the district built to host exactly this — a reconstructed creekside with the scale of the old city and the management of a mall. A free Saturday evening there in November is also the most pleasant hour of the year to see the creek, which is the one part of Dubai that predates the towers.
